Neighbor's Doppelganger 2: Nightmare Mode puts you behind a security window of a secret building in Nightmare Land. During your shift, you have to check people who want to come in, but guests aren't always who they seem to be.
Dangerous doppelgängers live among the normal residents and can copy their looks and pretend to be someone else.
In the game, a simple protection job is turned into a tough observation task. Each person who comes in has a reason, personal information that can be looked at, and a record that can be compared to the facility's whitelist. One poor choice can let a fake person through or send away a real resident.

One person at a time comes up to the window and gives information about themselves. Their cards have information about themselves and why they want to get in.
You don't have to make a choice right away. Take some time to listen to what the visitor has to say and decide if it makes sense. When other details don't match, a strange request becomes more important.
People who are known to live in the area are listed on the filter on the right side of the screen. It's what you use as a guide during your checks.
Check the visitor's cards against the list entry that goes with them. Names and other personal information should match what is in the records. As soon as something doesn't seem right, you might be working with a double instead of the real resident.
When a player gets to the window, their cards show up under it. To see the information on the cards, click on them, and then carefully read the entry request.
The important part is linking the visitor's information to the records on the whitelist. One aspect alone can be misleading, so look at all the information you have access to before making a choice.
After the inspection is over, you can do one of two things. To let a real neighbor through, press the green button on the right. To get rid of a lookalike, press the red button on the left.
It's easy to understand what the buttons do, but it's really hard to find the right target. Getting rid of a real resident is just as bad as letting a fake one in.
Being in Nightmare Mode makes what would normally be an easy identification job more difficult. People who look like you can't always be trusted, and a visitor who seems fine may still have something wrong with their information.
Each inspection feels different because of the tense atmosphere. You're not just looking at papers through a window; you're trying to keep an unknown threat out of a place that needs your protection.
Do not draw conclusions about each tourist based on others you have met. Instead, treat each one as a unique case. Before you press either button, read the request, look at the cards, and make sure that the information on the cards matches what's on the whitelist.
It can also help to remember things from people you've already met. If you know the visitor's name and other details, it may be easier to identify them later.
Above all, don't let speed take the place of accuracy. If you want to be safe in Neighbor's Doppelganger 2: Nightmare Mode, you should usually look at the facts before making a guess based on how things look.
